WINDING PATH,

After a major home remodel and extension, a large portion of this creekside backyard was a bit worse for the wear. These clients who already had a lovely pool and generous flagstone patio were seeking a purposeful way to utilize this space.

A slow walking path and private patio just outside of the new master suite using permeable materials maintain a natural feel. Surrounding the path is a mix of CA native and climate-appropriate low-water plants that blend seamlessly with the focal point of the native buckeye trees.
